NGORONGORO CRATER DAY TRIP

OVERVIEW

The Ngorongoro crater, also called the Unbroken Caldera, is a special place in northern Tanzania. It’s a big hole in the ground that was made when a volcano blew up and collapsed millions of years ago. It’s famous because it’s a really important place for animals and it’s also a park that people like to visit. It’s only a few hours’ drive from a town called Arusha. When you drive into the hole, you’ll see lots of different animals like wildebeest, zebra, and birds. It’s really exciting!

DETAILED ITINERARY

Early morning after breakfast, you will depart from Arusha to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will first see the view of the beautiful crater at the view point and take stunning photos for memories and a special moment. You will descend down the crater whereby on the way you will pass several Maasai villages and then down to the floor where you will get a chance to see a huge number of mammals and the animals are easy to spot at this incredible crater floor. After lunch and an extensive game drive, you will drive back to Arusha which marks the end of your epic adventure. Location: Ngorongoro Conservation Area Duration: unlimited game drive
