Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your adventure begins with a morning departure from Arusha, heading south toward Tarangire National Park. As you enter the park, you’ll immediately notice its distinctive landscape, dotted with majestic baobab trees and winding rivers that attract a wide variety of wildlife. Tarangire is especially known for its large elephant herds, as well as lions, giraffes, zebras, and countless bird species. You’ll spend the day exploring the park on game drives, soaking in its peaceful beauty and observing animals in their natural habitat. In the late afternoon, you’ll exit the park and drive to your lodge in the nearby town of Karatu for a relaxing evening and overnight stay.

Day 2: Karatu to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, the journey continues with a scenic drive through the lush Ngorongoro Highlands toward the vast plains of the Serengeti. Along the way, you’ll pass traditional Maasai villages and enjoy a brief stop at the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint, where the landscape opens dramatically beneath you. Day 3: Full Day in the Serengeti

Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti, offering one last chance to spot elusive wildlife and capture those perfect photographs. Around midday, you’ll begin your drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with game viewing opportunities along the way. As you approach the rim of the crater, the landscape shifts to lush forests and dramatic cliffs. You’ll arrive at your lodge perched on the crater rim or nearby, with spectacular views and cooler temperatures, ready for a good night’s rest before your descent into the crater the next day.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Today begins early with a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world’s most remarkable natural wonders. This vast, unbroken caldera is home to a dense concentration of wildlife, including the rare black rhino, large lion prides, elephants, hippos, and hundreds of flamingos gathered at the crater lake. With its mix of open grasslands, forests, and swamps, the crater offers an incredibly diverse game viewing experience in a single day. After a picnic lunch by the hippo pool, you’ll ascend the crater wall and begin your return journey to Arusha, arriving by late afternoon. This marks the end of your safari adventure, filled with unforgettable memories and breathtaking encounters with Africa’s wild heart.
