Travelers will enjoy spotting lions, elephants, zebras, and giraffes while staying in comfortable lodges, creating memories that last a lifetime. This safari experience blends adventure, culture, and nature, making it perfect for those seeking an authentic Tanzanian wildlife adventure.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Your safari begins with a morning departure from Arusha, driving south through Maasai lands toward Tarangire National Park. This park is famous for its towering baobab trees, dry riverbeds, and high density of elephants, especially during the dry season. You’ll enjoy your first game drive here, spotting wildlife such as lions, zebras, giraffes, and many bird species. After a picnic lunch inside the park, you’ll continue exploring until late afternoon, then head to your lodge in the nearby town of Karatu or outside the park for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Tarangire to Ndutu Area (Ngorongoro Conservation Area)
After breakfast, you’ll depart for the Ndutu region, part of the southern Serengeti ecosystem but within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This area is particularly rich in wildlife during the green season (December to March), when it becomes the calving ground for wildebeest during the Great Migration. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive across the open plains dotted with acacias and volcanic soil. Expect to see large herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles and the predators that follow them.
Day 3: Full Day in Ndutu – Great Migration (Calving Season Focus)
Spend a full day exploring the Ndutu region with morning and afternoon game drives. During the calving season, thousands of newborn wildebeest are born every day, attracting predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. With fewer vehicles than Serengeti, the Ndutu area offers a more intimate wildlife experience. You may also spot elephants, giraffes, and the elusive serval cat in this region. Return to your camp in the evening for a warm dinner under the stars.
Day 4: Ndutu to Central Serengeti
After breakfast, journey north into the Central Serengeti, passing through sweeping savannahs and wildlife-rich corridors. The Seronera Valley, your destination, is a year-round game-viewing hotspot, particularly well known for its resident big cats. Along the way, enjoy en-route game drives, spotting elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and countless antelope species. Arrive at your lodge or tented camp in time for dinner and a relaxing evening in the wild.
Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Begin your day with an early morning game drive in the Serengeti, taking advantage of the cooler temperatures and peak animal activity. After breakfast or a packed brunch, begin your drive toward Ngorongoro, with wildlife sightings along the way. As you leave the open plains behind and ascend into the cooler highlands, the landscape becomes more forested and dramatic. You’ll arrive at your lodge near the crater rim or in Karatu in time for dinner and overnight rest.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Tour & Transfer to Lake Eyasi
Today you’ll descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and natural wonder teeming with wildlife. The crater floor is home to nearly every species found in East Africa, including the endangered black rhino and large lion prides. Explore the varied habitats—grasslands, marshes, acacia forests—and enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool. After the game drive, continue your journey to Lake Eyasi, a quiet and less-traveled destination on the southern edge of the Ngorongoro Highlands. Arrive at your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Lake Eyasi Cultural Visit – Drive to Lake Manyara – Return to Arusha
Rise early for an incredible cultural experience with the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes. You’ll join the Hadzabe on a morning hunt with bows and arrows, learning about their traditional hunter-gatherer lifestyle, then visit the Datoga blacksmiths to see how they craft tools using ancient methods. After breakfast, continue your journey to Lake Manyara National Park for a short game drive. Though compact, the park is rich in wildlife and famous for its tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, and hippo pools. Enjoy lunch and a final drive through the park before heading back to Arusha, where your safari concludes in the late afternoon.
