ARRIVAL AT THE AIRPORT

On the first day of your trip, when you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be greeted by a representative from African Big Cats Safaris, who will take you to your lodging in Arusha. You will spend the night there and leave for your safari the next day. Your accommodation will be at Ilboru Safari Lodge, and breakfast will be provided.

DAY 2: ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

The second day will begin with an early morning departure after breakfast for Tarangire National Park, which is named after the Tarangire River that runs through it. This river is the only source of water for wildlife in the area during the dry season, and the park is well-known for its elephant families. You may also see giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests. After lunch and an extensive game drive, you will head to Eileen’s Tree Inn in Karatu for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3: NGORONGORO CRATER TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

On day three, you will depart after breakfast for Ngorongoro Crater, a natural reserve famous for being home to some of the densest large mammal populations in Africa. After lunch, you will drive to the Serengeti National Park. Your accommodation will be at Embalakai Camp, and breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided.

DAY 4: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK TO KARATU

The fourth day will begin with an en-route game drive in the Serengeti to Karatu. Late in the afternoon, you will drive straight to Karatu through the Ngorongoro conservation area. Your accommodation will be at Eileen’s Tree Inn, and breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided.

DAY 5: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK TO ARUSHA TO ZANZIBAR(STONE TOWN)

On the fifth day, after breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a game viewing drive. You will then have a packed lunch at a picnic site before driving back to Arusha and on to Arusha Airport for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar Airport. On arrival, you will be taken to Zanzibar Stone Town, where you will spend the night at Maru Maru Hotel Zanzibar. Breakfast and lunch will be provided, but dinner will not be included at Maru Maru Hotel.

DAY 6&7: NORTH COAST OF ZANZIBAR (NUNGWI)

After breakfast, you will head straight in the city of Stone town before traveling to the northern coast of Zanzibar known as Nungwi which has the kind of white coral sand that seems to glow even after nightfall. For its entire bustle, it can still feel secluded. Nungwi’s expansive coastline is wide open for swimming and snorkeling in some of Africa’s most pristine, reef-rich waters. It’s one of the rare Zanzibari beaches untroubled by severe undulations of high and low tides, making it perfect for all-day water activities. Deep-sea fishing near Nungwi is top-notch, with opportunities to catch kingfish, Dorado, yellow fin tuna, and enormous striped marlin from the Indian Ocean. There are plenty of activities on offer — walking tours, sunset cruises, diving excursions, and parasailing to name a few — but all it takes is a sunset sighting of traditional dhow boats bobbing in the sea to be captured by this enchanting African beach
You will spend 2 nights in this incredible place.

DAY 8: ONWARDS TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT/FERRY

After breakfast and depending on the departure time of your flight, you will be transferred to the airport or ferry to your next destination.
